We met up with the Jones and the Scholl’s at “Waimea Bay” on the North shore. During the winter months the waves here are huge. The north shore is famous for surfing also including “Sunset beach” and the notorious “Banzai pipeline.” At “Waimea Bay” there is a huge rock or cliff that all the boys were jumping from into the water. It looked cool. We stayed there most of the day then went to Dan and Dianne’s, they are staying at “Turtle Bay resort.” We swam in the pool and the boys played volleyball on the beach. We went to dinner at a Mexican restaurant.
