Today is Michael’s birthday and it’s Father’s Day. June 11th was our 30 year anniversary, so we decided it was a great time to celebrate and go to Hawaii. We left Seattle at 6 a.m. and flew to Salt Lake. We had a four hour layover so we had breakfast and hung around. We had a flight then from Salt Lake to Los Angeles and from Los Angeles to Honolulu. Michael thought he would check to see if we could get on the earlier flight from Salt Lake to “Honolulu” direct. The lady asked if he was a father and he said…”Yes, and it’s my birthday.” Well I guess she thought that was cool because she said… “Happy Father’s Day and Birthday.” We got the earlier flight which was still first class! We got our tickets and started boarding right away what great luck that was. We will get into “Honolulu” about 6 hours earlier!
