We drove over to “Lumaha’i Beach.” We saw this beach from the air on our helicopter ride. It’s a really wide long beach made famous as a location for the movie “South Pacific” There was hardly anyone on the beach except a couple teenagers. What a beautiful strip of sand. This is a great beach if you are looking for a beautiful strip of sand this beach shouldn’t be missed. But if you are looking for a place to swim it shouldn’t be touched! This beach, along with “Hanakapi’ai” on the “Na Pali Coast”, are the two most dangerous beaches on “Kauai”. I picked up a few shells here.
